Edie – Qualified Dental Assistant
Edie is a QDA, Qualified Dental Assistant who is extremely knowledgeable and has over 30 years of experience in the dental field.
Edie’s kind, caring, and warm personality makes her patients feel comfortable and her heart of compassion communicates to her patients that they will have a pleasant dental experience. Her love for dentistry and her passion for people is evident in the way she explains each procedure to her patients in a gentle manner.
Edie keeps up with all the latest technology of dentistry, by attending CE courses to further her knowledge in the dental field. During her many years of dentistry, she has also functioned as an Office Manager, managing all the daily front desk operations.
With her knowledge and love of dentistry, her passion for people makes her very valuable to our practice.
In her spare time, Edie enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and horses.
Liz – Office Coordinator
Liz is our office coordinator. She really enjoys speaking with our patients on the phone and greeting them at their appointment.
Her friendly demeanor and smile immediately put our patients at ease. Liz has been in the dental field for over 25 years and is happy to schedule your appointments, verify and explain insurance benefits, and answer any questions regarding your account.
The majority of her experience has been with general dentistry, but she has also spent several years working in orthodontics.
Liz has lived most of her life in Maryland. Growing up in Ocean City as a child, her love of the outdoors was heightened when she moved to Jackson Hole, WY where she started her dental career in 1994.
When not working, she loves spending time with her kids and grandkids as well as taking a ride on the Harley with her husband. Faith and family are most important to Liz.
Julie – Registered Dental Hygienist
Julie is a Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH. She brings over 30 years of experience to our office, helping to make our patients’ teeth healthy and smiles beautiful.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from West Virginia University in 1988 and has spent her career practicing dental hygiene in Frederick County. She enjoys her patients and makes it her priority to educate them in understanding the importance of good oral hygiene and dental health.
Julie lives in Frederick County with her husband. She has 2 grown daughters and 4 grandchildren whom she adores.
If she is not busy keeping our teeth clean and healthy, you can find her with her toes in the sand.
Valerie – Registered Dental Hygienist
Valerie is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is also licensed to administer local anesthesia.
She received her Associate of Applied Science from Hagerstown Community College in 2025. She enjoys brightening smiles and educating on oral health practices to make our patients’ smiles as healthy as they can be!
Valerie lives in Smithsburg, MD with her husband and 2 Springer Spaniels. She and her husband will be welcoming their first child into the world in March 2026!
Outside of work, Valerie loves spending time with her family and reading.
Amanda – Registered Dental Hygienist
Amanda is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with over 20 years of experience. She is licensed to administer local anesthesia. Her passion is working as a traveling dental hygienist in nursing homes, but she also dedicates her time to private practice.
Amanda grew up in Michigan and received her dental hygiene degree from Mott Community College in 2004. She continued her education and later received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health from Walden University. She moved to the DC/MD/VA area in 2011.
Amanda lives in Thurmont with her 2 kids and travels back to Michigan whenever she gets a chance.
